Yvette Butler
Yvette Butler's mission is simple: close the generational wealth gap. Yvette brings more than 35 years of experience working with the tech industry’s top innovators and investors seeking to build wealth through alternative and concentrated personal investments. Prior to founding Impart Media, a fintech media startup and parent brand to Hive Wealth, Yvette served as the President of SVB Private Banking & Wealth Management. She also served as President of Capital One Investing, the first large bank to build its own robo-advisor digital platform; Managing Director for Wells Fargo Advisors; Head of Investor Marketing for E*TRADE; and in various positions at Merrill Lynch, McKinsey & Company, and Charles Schwab.
While pursuing fintech as her vocation, Yvette also committed her avocation to helping others build wealth. She serves as a board member of Voya Financial, Advisory Board Member of Hillcrest Finance, LLC, and as a member of the Executive Leadership Council, which advances the role and contributions of current and next-generation black corporate leaders and philanthropists. She has also served on the University of Virginia Ridley Scholarship board. Now, Yvette combines her vocation and avocation as CEO and founder of Hive Wealth.
In addition to her passion for banking, Yvette is a champion for women and leadership development. Yvette was named one of The Washingtonian’s prestigious list of the Most Powerful Women in Washington in 2017, Savoy’s 100 Most Influential Black Executives. in 2020, and Savoy's Most Influential Black Board Directors in 2021. Yvette holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University and a B.S. in finance and management information systems from the University of Virginia.
